ellipse is a contemporary lifestyle magazine depicting the evolving social and technological landscapes of modern society. The publication covers a range of topics, from gender to space travel and beyond. Our goal is to inform and inspire younger generations to actively participate in the shaping of our world.

Produced in collaboration with 36 photographers and graphic designers from the College of Imaging Arts & Sciences at RIT during Fall 2016.

I had the pleasure of being Assistant Art Director on this incredible project.

The magazine was awarded 3 Gold ADDYs by the Rochester Advertising Federation at the 2017 RAF American Advertising Awards.

"Fashionable Pioneers" discusses gender and its profound impact on the fashion industry. Talking points include androgyny, unisex clothing, and blurring the lines between traditionally masculine vs feminine dress.

"It is time that we recognize just how diverse and important LGBTQ identities are and expand our spectrum of beauty. If we are to experience a genuine fashion revolution, representation across the board is a necessity."

Cyborg Identity

"Cyborg Identity" outlines the complex relationship between real life and life online. A social commentary on humankind's increasing reliance on technology and constructing a separate, curated, cyberself.

"We are letting mechanization overcome us, letting the dependency cripple us instead of propelling us to optimal functioning. It presents a certain danger, but also an opportunity for the way we view identity."
